G'Day and welcome to my shop of jewellery delights! Due to the new EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) rules coming into force from 13 December, I will no longer be shipping to any EU country, which also includes Northern Ireland after this date. Although I ensure all the components I use in my jewellery are safe for consumers, I don't think my business can afford the EU agent that is required.
LAST POSTING DATES: UK - 14 DEC; REST OF WORLD - 1 DEC. Please note, I'm happy to post items after these dates, but delivery speeds can be reduced due to large volume of Christmas post, so Royal Mail cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas.

Japanese Chyogami paper is hand screen printed layer by layer, each colour added one at a time, with the final colour usually gold or silver metallic detailing the pattern. I just love collecting different types of paper - this Chyogami paper is so pretty!

Full description
These unusual handmade mixed media earrings are a combination of pretty hydrangea patterned Japanese Washi or Chyogami paper and clear acrylic heart shapes!
This particular Japanese paper features large hydrangea flowers in soft shades of pink, lilac and mauve, with blue-green and yellow-green leaves, on a cream background and with a metallic gold leaf pattern.
I have used decoupage techniques to adhere the paper to the underside of heart shaped clear acrylic tags. Once dry, I've added another layer of a different section of the hydrangea Washi paper, featuring light green leaves, then finally a couple of layers of satin acrylic varnish - for added protection!
I've paired these earrings with rose gold plated jump rings and earring hooks featuring scroll and ball accents. the heart shapes measure approximately 2.5cm at their widest part, by 2.2cm long. The total drop of the earrings is about 4cm.
These lovely unique earrings will come to you safe and carefully packaged in a UK Made eco-friendly recycled kraft card jewellery box (hand-folded by me!) - perfect for gifting to a fan of hydrangea flowers (or as a treat for yourself!)
