Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with fabric, paints, embroidery, beads and collage. I particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

Full description
This mixed media artwork would make a unique and original gift or add a pop of colour to your home.
The artwork is housed in a small wooden box which has been painted with dark brown acrylic paint.
On display are a postage stamp with a portrait by Japanese artist Sharaku and a small section from a Hiroshige playing card. Other items include a Greek Mykonos metal verdigris goddess pendant, filigree hand of hamsa, jewelry findings and beads (Mookaite, Czech pressed glass and a carved bone bead in the shape of a fish).
The compartments have been sectioned with painted paper strips and I've added layers of acrylic paint, woodblock prints and decoration from old books to create a vintage feel.
The box is free-standing and measures 225mm long x 80mm high x 30mm deep. Internal compartments measure approx. 7cm sq.
