Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with fabric, paints, embroidery, beads and collage. I particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

A lovely handmade gift and card for the Taureans in your life.
The Taurus-themed mixed media artwork is housed in a small wooden box which has been painted with dark brown acrylic paint.
On display is a section from a playing card depicting a lovely 15th C French painting of Taurus, postage stamps from India and Israel and a small metal charm of a bull. There's also a Greek Mykonos metal verdigris zodiac symbol, jewelry findings and beads (Picasso jasper, crackle glass, Czech fire-polished, carved jade and drawbench).
Each compartment has been sectioned with painted paper strips. I've added layers of acrylic paint, woodblock print and decorations from old books to create a vintage feel.
The box is free-standing and measures 225mm long x 80mm high x 30mm deep. Internal compartments measure approx. 7cm sq.
The handmade card has a lovely fabric zodiac panel of Taurus the bull in the front aperture.
The card is 13x18cm and is blank inside.
