I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use track 24 or special delivery so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). I cut and polish my own fordite, surfite and bowlerite, I'm happy to take commissions. If I don't have shipping to your country set up please drop me a message as it might be possible.

Full description
These drop earrings feature teardropsof fordite bezel set in sterling silver finished with sterling silver safety hooks to keep them secure in your ears. The fordite has a wavy pattern of rings in white, silver, emerald, electric blue and red, quite a lot of the colours are sparkly so even though they are small (compared to what I normally make) they pack an eye catching punch. They measure 39mm (from top of hook) by 10mm across, fordite is lightweight so comfortable to wear all day.
Not come across fordite before? It is layers of cured paint that builds up in spray booths at vehicle factories where the paint misses the car panel it is meant for, as painting technology improves and becomes more accurate less fordite is formed. This over spray builds up getting baked in between each layer giving a hard material which can be cut and polished to show the colours. This material I believe to have come from a Harley Davidson motorbike factory, they do lots of custom paint jobs which makes pinning down a specific year or factory difficult. Love the idea of fordite but want something else - drop me a message, I have more cabochons of this material which could be recut (like these were) to make you just what you want.
