I wanted to make some soap dishes that brought a little joy and a smile.
These bright coloured dishes should bring a little sunshine to your moment.
The spiral detail makes an attractive feature and keeps the soap slightly raised above the dish to prevent the bar getting soggy.

Here's a delightful Sunshine Orange Soap Dish.
It was designed to bring you some warmth as you wash your hands
I threw it on the potters wheel using a strong white stoneware clay and then added the raised spiral pattern. When leather hard the base was trimmed and when fully dry the dish was fired to 1000C. I then glazed the soap dish before firing it again to 1240C.
