Full description
This tissue pouch cover, has been entirely hand-stitched, felted and embroidered with a summery meadow design, producing a very pretty item to give as a gift or carry in your handbag .
Sky blue wool fibers have been felted to a background of 'eco' felt (produced from recycled plastic bottles). Snippets of yarn, saved from other projects, have been felted to the background using an embellisher machine. Stitching in fine cotton has been added to the sky to 'stabilise' the felting. Simple embroidery stitches in cotton threads, crewel, tapestry and knitting wools, have been used to create buttrecups, daisies and clover.
The case is lined in a printed floral fabric and the back panel is a blue and white, canvas type, fabric. The case is seemed with blanket stitch in blue and green crochet cottons, corresponding to areas of the design. The case closes with a button-hole stitch loop - using the same blue cotton thread, over a cream button.
Please note: tissues are not included - this is in order to keep the postage cost low. If a pouch of tissues is required please message me before purchase. There will be an addtional postage charge of £2 bringing the total P&P charge to £3.50 (small parcel) - I will edit the listing for you before purchase.
