Full description
A miniature Christmas tree decorated with iridescent sequin stars and metallic cord.
Fabric scraps in shades of green have been randomly appliqued to Christmas tree shapes in green felt to give a patchwork appearance. Pretty metallic cord has been added to represent tinsel. The tree has been decorated with tiny pearlescent sequin stars, which catch the light beautifully, carefully stitched in place. A star of gold sequins and beads sits on the top of the tree. Tiny gold beads have been stitched to the end of each 'branch'. The sections of the tree are gently filled with wadding. The tree is 'planted' in a festive red tub, constructed from a recycled plastic bottle top, covered in recycled T-shirt fabric. The tub is filled with polyester wadding and brown felt is stitched over the top. The tree is firmly stitched in place.
