As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

What a beautiful find this tablecloth turned out to be. Altho it was care worn, I was able to use the pretty corner embroideries to stitch into this little make up bag, and make this fabric treasured once again.
There is a matching lavender bag also in my shop right now.

Full description
I have made this little make up bag or purse from a beautiful vintage table cloth found in a charity shop in York. It is covered in pretty hand embroidered blue flowers, with tiny cross stitches covering the spaces in between. This would make a perfect little purse for weddings and special occasions, or for storing precious memories. A great gift for an embroiderer, a vintage textile lover, or as a present for Mum.
The embroidery has been stitched onto cotton to strengthen it, but it is still a soft little bag.
It measures 16 cm wide and 12 cm long, with a 16 cm long bright blue zip.
There is a hook so you can carry it as a tiny clutch, or to hang it up somewhere special and admire the needlework.
The back is made from a different section of the same tablecloth, and there are 3 decorative buttons in the corner.
The lining is a pretty vintage floral cotton, and it is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
I like to reuse where possible. Your purse will be posted out using clean recycled wrapping from my hoard, and sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.
