Full description
A puffin tote bag in turquoise fabric with a cute appliqué puffin. The puffin is made from black fabric with small white patterns and a co-ordinating white fabric with small black patterns. Its foot and the outer section of its beak are made from a peach-orange fabric with a pattern of white dashes. The inner section of its beak is made from green fabric with the same pattern as on the white fabric but in dark green. The beak is embellished with yellow machined satin stitch, to show the characteristic colours and markings of a puffin's beak. I've used a black button for the puffin's eye. The bag is fully lined with black fabric with large white polka dots.
This versatile tote bag is perfect for use as a shopping bag but it could also be used as a handbag. With its instantly recognisable and much-loved bird, it would make a lovely gift for anyone who loves puffins and nautical wildlife.
The approximate measurements of the tote bag are:
14 inches (36cm) high x 12.5 inches (32cm) wide x 3 inches (8cm) across the base. The handles are of a length that can be worn on the shoulder or hand-carried.
