Oak galls collected in the spring on Exmoor, Devon. These are processed and graded into ink in the studio. Bottles are 50ml and preserved with cloves. All packaging designed and made here with natural pigments and inks.

This ink was used for the Magna Carta, in Leonardo's sketchbooks, and registrars, as it is permanent and indelible. This ink darkens with age and is useful for writing and drawing. Each batch is unique. I collect the galls each spring, dry and store until I need another batch. Each batch takes between 10 -15 days before it is refined and bottled, preserved with the addition of a whole clove in every bottle,
