Many of us experienced the wide range of Ladybird books during our childhood. This example is a picture book designed to educate children about life on a farm with pictures of tractors, sheep, pigs, milking cows and ponies. The iconic illustrations are in bright shades of greens and oranges and show a past life. The wording is simple 'here is the farmer on his tractor'.
