Proseprints is keen to be green, our printed greeting cards are on recycled paper, with bio-degradable cellos, we use paper based packaging and are introducing non-plastic packaging for protecting artwork. We also support a local conservation charity, donating money from the sales of our cards and artwork.
The Brown Hare is an elegant and athletic creature with distinctive long ears, muscular limbs and beautiful large eyes. Linked to spring madness and spirited antics and boxing demonstrations.Their numbers have reduced significantly due to the loss of grassland and changes in farming practices. Lepus is the scientific name for hare.
We have linked up with a local environmental charity - Torrington Commons Conservators - and donate £5 from the sale of every print.

Lepus depicts a Brown Hare. It is a hand painted monoprint from a lino block and printed on a hand press. The background is green and the hare is brown with warm orange and red highlights
It is signed and titled in pencil by the artist.
The print is supplied in a cream mount.
It is a variable edition; every hand painted print is unique.
Mount size: to fit a frame measuring 10 by 8 inches.
Printed on Fabriano paper using water based inks.
