Formerly 'Buttons, Beads and Blanket Stitch'.
My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, with sewing playing an occasional part.
Whether working in print or in stitch, I am inspired by the natural world and the people around me, with words/text frequently playing an integral part.
* I endeavour to represent my pieces as clearly and with colours as true to life as possible, however some slight variations in tone between the image on screen and the piece itself may occur.*
Prints from an early bluebell lino tile have been trimmed to create these postcards, so creating budget and postal-friendly pieces of original artwork!

These postcards feature the only remaining prints of one of my earliest bluebell lino tiles.
- This original tile was re-worked and re-cut in order to create the A4 bluebell prints, the cards and notebooks which are also for sale here in my Folksy shop -
These images have been printed in a dark blue ink onto a lovely 300gsm watercolour paper, then trimmed down to a handy postcard size of 10.5cm x 15cm approx., with the backs kept blank.
The cards are tied with string into a bundle of 3, together with 3 white envelopes. Perfect for a little note or even to pop into a small frame.
Having been printed by hand, slight variations will occur from print to print; such is the beauty of a hand crafted piece.
