A piece of timber I picked up at a show many years ago to turn when I had the time. It turned out very nicely, much more interesting than the outside revealed. It has worm holes in it caused by insects boring in while the tree was still up or just after it was felled, they only add to the interest of this little bowl.

Full description
Spalted beech bowl 152 x 43 mm, finished in Danish oil. A nice small bowl with streaks of colour, spalting and a two tone appearance. There are some worm holes which add to the uniqueness of the piece, these along with the colour are from natural processes within the wood as it was harvested. It would make a lovely addition to any home as a decorative piece or for storage of small items.
