I will be taking a break from 18th December and throughout January 2020 (family time and time to work on new pieces and designs) I would like to wish all my lovely customers and all who visit my little shop a Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year. Thank you for shopping with me, for visiting Folksy and for supporting handmade x
XXxxxxXX Warmest wishes, Leisa XXxxxxXX
I have made this pendant in sterling silver, piercing out a stag and creating a back piece, all carefull soldered into place to hold a beautiful dendritic opal and a london blue topaz cabochon. The pendant is hand engraved and hammer textured with an oxidised finish.
Hallmarked by Sheffield Assay Office.
Measuring approx 40mm x 26mm excluding bale.
This pendant comes with an 18" chain (if you would prefer a different length please contact me - a longer chain may incur a slight extra charge).
I have always been interested in the art that our ancestors have left us, a connection to the distant past. The meanings often lost over time but the images remain beautiful all the same. This pendant is inspired by the stag found on the Dunfallandy Stone, a beautifully preserved Pictish carved stone near Pitlochry in Scotland.
