This fabric is great to work with. I have used this design for various bags but as with the nature of macrame and the different yarns and twines used, each bag is different. I love this colour and the embossed effect of the butterfly. This bag is bold and will brighten any outfit especially over the Christmas period.

Full description
A beautiful macrame bag made using tektek recycled t-shirt yarn.
The fabric is slightly stretchy and has a sheen. It is a wonderful bold wine colour.
A Butterfly sits in the centre of the bag opening flap and a tassled fringe softens the edge.
The shoulder strap has been braided. There is a magnetic fastening attached to close the bag.
Inside the bag has been lined with a bright red cotton fabric covered in small white dots.
Between the liner and the base of the bag is a thin sheet of recyclable polypropylene to add strength to the base for a more hardwearing bag. It also makes a flat surface in the bottom of the bag which I find makes it easier for locating things that have worked their way down there.
I have included a photo to show where the bag sits when worn on the shoulder of someone 5'6" tall.
External measurements:
The shoulder strap when hanging empty is about 100cm. This will stretch a bit when the bag is filled due to the nature of the fabric.
The height if the bag is 20cm
The body of the bag is 17 cm and the flap is 19cm wide.
