Item details

Victorian poet Emily Dickinson used feathers and birds as a metaphor for hope. We all need hope! I love feathers both in reality and as a motif. Their delicacy and ethereal beauty fascinate me. In using an extremely fine brush with my watercolours, I hope I have managed to capture some of that softness and delicacy.
