Making jewellery out of something that has been repurposed, as well as my usual natural materials, for me, is a way of recycling and keeping plastic from the oceans. I fell in love with these gorgeous turquoise beads and pondered on them for a few days after they arrived, before deciding what to make. Tribal and simple, I chose a plain waxed cotton cord to show them off.

A simple brown waxed cotton cord necklace with turquoise African Ghana Krobo handmade recycled glass beads on natural copper wire with adjustable hemp macrame neck fastening so it can be worn as a choker or pendant.
