Sterling silver wave necklace - MADE TO ORDER
Popular among nautical enthusiasts, surfers and beach goers. A lover of the ocean myself this unique design is one of my favourites.
This pendant will be handmade to order using traditional silver-smithing techniques.
A ‘ring’ will be formed from 1.2mm sterling silver wire and then lightly hammered on the outside edge.
The wave will be made from two shaped lengths of 1mm sterling silver soldered together to make the wave shape. The wave will then been soldered inside the ring.
A small ring will be added to the top for the chain.
After much filing & sanding the pendant will be polished to give a high shine.
The pendant will measure approximately 25mm across and will be popped on a sterling silver curb chain - choose chain length (from 16” to 24”).
The legal requirement for hallmarking silver is for items weighing 7.78g or more, this pendant weighs less than this limit and is therefore just hand-stamped with 925.
