Handcrafted jewellery using Sterling Silver & gemstones ~ all made in Dorset on the Jurassic Coast

I have been making jewellery for over 10 years and am lucky to have a fantastic jewellery school here in Dorset. This is where I have been taught by two very patient tutors over the past few years. I love to watch videos and read books on the subject of silversmithing and am always tinkering with a new technique.

Working with Sterling Silver sheet / wire, with a hammer, saw and soldering torch is a fabulous feeling, to be able to form it or sometimes not knowing how it's going to turn out adds to the charm of making a piece.

One of the techniques I love is using my rolling mill to imprint patterns & textures onto sheet silver to make pendants, earrings, cuff bangles, rings.....

Mostly I am inspired by nature and the creatures living in the sea - living in on the Jurassic Coast in South Dorset there is lots to explore on the seashores.

With Jewellery, the smallest item, lets say a pair of earrings or pendant, can add to, or change our style, subtly or in a big way. Trends come and go but our personalities are part of our make-up, and this we can show in our Jewellery pieces, perhaps this is why I love creating the unusual pieces so much.

I have set up a little workshop at home where I can disappear to on my own with the radio on for company. It’s not a huge space but it’s mine. My happy place.

I am working hard to create new pieces each week, ranging from necklaces, rings, bangles, earrings and charms for those bangles.

I hope you love them as much as I do. Each one is handmade and therefore never exactly the same as the last one made. I try not to repeat an item but couldn’t ignore the requests for certain items to be custom made for customers.

Please note all pieces are individual, therefore there may be SLIGHT variations from the photographs.

I am Registered with The London Assay Office, this is where my Jewellery is Hallmarked and my Unique Makers Mark is added.
