The patterning on the parrot is scrolled work. This involves drawing a steel tip through the red hot enamel. The outcome is not predictable and not repeatable. Birds lend themselves to this technique, especially parrots with their gaudy but subtle plumage.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This parrot is decorated with a layer of turquoise enamel over several layers of clear enamel. Over this, I have scattered red and white enamel, scrolled to add plumage to the bird.
The parrot measures 54mm long, 16mm at its widest. I have mounted it on a 26mm brooch bar fastening with a rotating catch.
Your brooch will be sent boxed, by Royal Mail first class large letter, signed for.
