The clear crystal with its conical shape allowed for this simple and yet elegant wrapping. Trying to encase a smooth crystal is always a challenge; especially when it it has no drilled holes. The wrapping is cleared in such a way that no bonding agent was used; it is solely the wrapping that holds it in place.

This quartz crystal pendant is made using tarnish resistant silver plated copper wire.
The quartz crystal is held in the wrapping purely by the number of wraps of wire around the top of the crystal.
The pendant is 6.5 cm long and hangs beautifully with a long chain. The item will come with a 24" silver plated chain; and and organza pouch for storage.
This pendant will go really well with day time as well as evening wear.
The design allows for the pendant to be worn on either side; therefore any wearer will in fact be wearing a different pendant dependant on which side they have it on.
It could also be a delightful present to anyone who enjoys unique pieces of art; as wire wrapping is a technique that can rarely recreate the same design twice. It will also be a perfect present for someone who enjoys vintage style jewellery; due to the stone not having been recently manufactured. Would make an ideal present for anyone looking to gift it to their brides maids as part of their wedding celebration.
