The inspiration for this piece came from the royal wedding in 2018. The stone gets its name from the African country of Botswana; where the royal couple spent some of their time in their early days.
The colour of the agate is so delicate so only silver wire would be a befitting casing for the stone. It is hand weaved in the v-shaped pattern to showcase the bead in all its splendour.

This beautiful pendant is made using a Botswana 31.9 cts agate stone (size: 36.6 X 16.25 X 6.8 mm) wire wrapped in 0.99 silver wire.
Due to the delicate colouring of the stone; I wanted to create a simple design to showcase the beauty of the gem.
The gem stone is almost see through in its quality is complimented beautifully by the wire wrapping.
The item will come with a silver plated 24 inch chain and in a handy organza pouch for storage.
The simple design will match a day time or evening attire. It is a one of a kind piece in it's design and make. There are no others like it; therefore as a wearer you will be admired for its elegance; simplicity and uniqueness.
Though I used silver wire for this piece; like all metals silver will age; so please cleaning gently with no harsh chemicals.
Preferably do take it off prior to a shower or a bath; as it may tarnish the wire.
Always rotate your jewellery pieces; wearing one item all the time may tarnish the piece; having different pendants on creates a new look.
