I wanted to give more variety when it comes to dolls and ornaments, everything that I see on the High Street or online is blonde with light skin, and I wanted young girls to feel represented and to have a decoration that reflects them and their culture.
This ballerina would be perfect for a Christmas tree decoration, or hung up on a young child's bedroom wall, especially for one obsessed with ballet!

This tiny ballerina in a twirly tutu is ready to find her new dance partner!
She is around 6 inches tall, with a friendly hand-drawn face, and black hair styled in a plaited crown, topped with a flower sequin, perfect for ballet! Her mid-sleeve cardigan and matching shoes are made from a DMC Mouliné Etoile embroidery thread to give her a bit of sparkle, and she has a full yellow and white flower skirt.
She can be hung up using the red cord at the top of her head, so she would be perfect for the Christmas tree, or hanging on a bedroom wall. The cord can be easily removed, so she would also be able to bend to sit on a flat surface.
Please note, this product is designed to be used as a decoration, it is not a toy.
