Hi, a warm welcome to the Dragon Art Glass shop on Folksy. I'm Andrea, a full time glass addict (oops, artist!) living and working in the valleys of South Wales. I've had a little shop here on Folksy since about 2016, but can also often be found at local craft markets and in my studio in Senghenydd.
I always aim to send out orders as quickly as possible, (often within a day), but please be aware that I post only via Royal Mail.
To make things easier for you, I can gladly gift wrap any presents, add a hand-written note and send them directly to the recipient at no extra charge – just leave me a note and details when you checkout.

I've been making stars for more more years than I can remember, I think it was one of the items I made the first Christmas I made fused glass, so I guess I've been making them at least 17 years. But a star is not just for Christmas - they make great gifts all year round!
I tend to vary them each time they are made, using different colours of glass, and different colours of beads. Sometimes they are wrapped with copper wire, sometimes with silver wire - it stops me from getting fed up of making them

Fused glass stars have been a very popular seller throughout my time as a maker, and I've made many over the years. Mine are a little different - tey typically have six points and are often wire-wrapped and beaded.
Each star has been lovingly hand cut from sheets of fusing glass, and fused in my kiln to allow them to be as strong as possible these are about 10cm point to point. Once cleaned, they have been wire wrapped and beaded with silver plated wire and seed beads. Each star is different to the next, as they are all wrapped differently and beaded with different combinations of beads - so you are getting an individual piece of fused glass art. Each star has ribbon attached, and is ready to hang where you wish on arrival.
They are suitable for use indoors or outdoors.
Stars are suitable for use throughout the year, and can be hung either inside or outside. They look great hanging in the window, in the garden, or on a wall and brighten up any room.
I often have many different colours in stock so if you would like a colour not listed, feel free to drop me a message.
