Items sent overseas are International Standard post, which does not include tracking. Tracked International post is available to add to your order if required.

I love Hydrangeas when they are in full bloom and this Japanese paper really captures their wonderful colour - plus, with this pendant you can wear a little summer flower around your neck all year long!

Full description
This pretty hydrangea pendant has been carefully decorated with handmade traditional Japanese Washi or Chyogami paper that features large hydrangea flowers in shades of Purple, mauve, pink and cream, with green and yellow-green leaves, on a cream background and with a metallic gold leaf pattern.
Japanese Chyogami paper is hand screen printed layer by layer, each colour added one at a time, with the final colour usually gold or silver metallic detailing the pattern.
I have used decopage techniques to adhere the paper to the underside of an oblong shaped clear acrylic shape. Once dry, I've added another layer of a different section of Washi paper, then finally a light layer of resin - this makes the pendant reversible. The reverse of the pendant features yellow and green leaves of the Hydrangea.
I've paired this pendant with a rose gold plated leaf bail and matching rose gold plated chain and lobster clasp. The length of the chain is 22 inches and the pendant itself measures 2cm wide by just under 3.5 cm. the total drop of the pendant including the jumpring, is 4cm and the depth of the acrylic tag is approximately 3mm.
