One of my daughters has a great collection of dangling earrings so when I came across this idea I thought it would be the ideal storage solution. So I experimented on a design and colour scheme for her.
And it worked.
No longer do I find earrings on her bedroom desk or floor which means she enjoys using her bowl.
So now I make them for my Folksy shop too.
Important
Each of my bowls is handthrown on the wheel and then hand glazed so each is slightly different making each one unique. You would receive a bowl very similar to the one in the photo but may have little differences where the glazes have collected differently in some way or something a little quirky has happened. Each one will be beautiful and made by me in my studio / garage with love and attention.

This Jewellery Bowl is a great attractive way to look after and keep safely organised dangly earrings, bracelets, bangles, beads, watches and rings.
Earrings can be hung from the holes around the rim of the bowl either individually or in pairs. While bracelets, bangles, necklaces and rings can be stored inside the bowl.
I threw the bowl on the wheel using a strong stoneware clay. By using stoneware the bowl will be very durable. When the clay has harded I cut the holes into the clay before firing the bowl to bisque, 1000 centigrade
I then glazed it using a fresh green and greeny blue combination. The bowl was then refired to 1240 centigrade.
Approx height 7.5cm, across the rim 14.5 cm, 46 holes.
- All jewellery is for photographic purposes only.
- The process of hand throwing and hand glazing makes each item slightly different and unique. You would recieve a bowl very similar to the one in the photo.
