A really nice result from a few strips of reclaimed beech from an old woodworking vice jaw, accented with a off-cut of Walnut. Not tried this with hard wood before and it worked really well, would make a fine wall clock for an office or kitchen.

Reclaimed beech wood clock, 190mm x 160mm x 10mm plus mechanism.
A beautiful reclaimed beech clock with quartz movement. The beech has been reclaimed in strips and assembled with a walnut accent strip, finished with worktop oil for a low sheen lustre. The hour and minute hands are black painted metal and the second hand red plastic. Holes of different sizes mark the hours. Fully tested and keeps good time.
