I have named this hoop pattern Rose after the Magma Rose colourway from Pook Yarns that I used to make my first hoop in this pattern. Instead of the more usual multiple of 8s, it is based around a very open centred 6 pointed star. Rose is also appropriate as I am currently spending an inordinate amount of time removing aphids from the rose bush in my garden!
