Off to Winter Shows back soon xx
Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. Thank you and my warmest wishes xx
Had the chance to use this fabulous fabric and thoroughly enjoyed doing it. Wonderful to use and it just speaks for itself.

This is my Red Queen, she is a gentle Queen of Hearts with a sweet smile and not a hint of temper. The doll is a wee nine inches and is made to my Milly pattern. She is dressed in the most fabulous fabric, a real one off. The dress is a hand woven silk made by Margo Selby in deep reds and rich burgundy. I bought it a few years ago at Art in Action in Waterperry Gardens, Oxford and always intended to use it to make a Red Queen. And now I have, there was just enough to make a tiny Red Queen with a little left over to treasure. Her outfit is finished with lots of little heart buttons and charms with organza ribbon and a little embroidered sachet to match. She has coordinating skirts and underskirts with broderie anglais bloomers underneath her dress. Her shoes are red leather and she has grey stripey legs.
She has a rose crystal heart for love with lavender and rose petals in her stuffing for a gentle scent. She will sit nicely on a chair or a bed or hang from a brass ring to her neck.
She has small parts including button joints and sadly, is not suitable for children
