This was a visit to a seal sanctuary in Lincolnshire where the seals give birth to their pups on the sandy shore, the noise is like nothing I have ever heard before, the cries of the mothers,fathers and babies.A spectacle I will remember and hope to visit again, the seals are cared for by wardens and the public cannot reach the babies because of a boundary fence, but are close enough to witness this event.What stuck me was the innocent faces of the newborns,full of wonder and hope.They were also a different colour to the adults, I hoped to capture some of the innocence and wonder in my round oil paintings these cards are taken from...
