Thanks for stopping by! My shop will be taking a break for a bit as I'm heading to Canada! In the meantime, you can still purchase my work at my stockists in the UK - www.unearthedbylynn.com/where-to-buy

Inspired by my walks and adventures in the UK's countryside and along its seaside, and with a desire to reduce my footprint on the planet, I upcycle found pottery shards, sea glass and scoria glass, into keepsake jewellery to ground you in connection to its story.... to a person, a place, a memory. When you purchase Unearthed Jewellery, you also receive the story that has been uncovered....where your shard was unearthed, and more. I am registered with the Edinburgh Assay office and a Gold Member of the British Guild of Jewellery Designers. All Unearthed jewellery is signed with a .925 fineness mark and UBL makers mark.

Not the right size or colour? Have you unearthed your own shard? Please visit www.unearthedbylynn.com to ask about commissioning your own piece of Unearthed Jewellery.

Your Own Shard of History:
Inspired by the history of the potteries and the heritage of Spode, broken china or pottery shards evoke a sense of curiosity - Who made the original vessel? How did it get here? By upcycling these shards into jewellery, there is a chance to connect with the original makers, retelling their story. I intend to ground you in connection.... to a person, a place or a memory of the craftsmen and women of the potteries.

Not the right size or colour? Have your own shard? Please visit www.unearthedbylynn.com to ask about commissioning your own piece of Unearthed Jewellery.

Full description

Connecting you to the land and history from where it came, the pottery shard this ring was made from comes from the Spode Factory in Stoke on Trent in Staffordshire. It was once a plate sitting on display in the shop window, until it was damaged by a driver that crashed his car through the Spode shop window. The pattern is Blue Italian. This beautiful blue and white collection was launched in 1816 and has been in production ever since. Now considered an iconic English design, the stunning Blue Italian collection features a finely detailed 18th century Imari Oriental border encompassing a scene inspired by the Italian countryside. The shard comes from a plate that dates to 1949 and shows a collage of spirals that makes up one of the many patterns from the border of the pattern. The shard measures 6mm across.

Handmade from 100% sterling silver, the setting for this pottery shard ring is partially made using recycled sterling silver and the second textured ring is made using 100% ecosilver sterling silver, so you can feel good knowing you are wearing eco-friendly jewellery. This ring set has been stamped .925 and signed as 'UBL' - Unearthed by Lynn.

Size: This stacking ring set fits about a size P/Q.

This set is the perfect gift for someone who wants to express their unique style and desire to take care of the environment. It would also make a great 2nd, 9th or 11th wedding anniversary gift.
