I love Norse myths and legend and find lots of inspiration through reading around the subject. Valkyries were 'Choosers of the slain' Selecting who lived and died on the battlefield and then carrying them to Valhalla.

This item can either be sent as a pendant or as a keyring.
A hand burned Viking themed wood slice, with a Valkyrie in profile with wings, helmer and a patterned surround. This is a chunky wood slice piece, making a large pendant or keyring. A great idea for a five year wood anniversary gift.
-A branch slice with bark intact.
-The dimensions are approximately: 4.5cm at its largest diameter and about 1.2cm thick.
-Eyelet to top.
-Can come with either a bronzetone chain, cotton cord with lobster clasp or with a keyring loop.
-Comes in an organza bag with care instructions.

Please note: I can only post to countries whose customs accept live edge wood.
All my items feature my own design and composition. Each piece is unique. Please note, wood is a natural material and has it's own knots and imperfections that make it beautiful. Wood and pyrography age naturally over time. I seal the wood with varnish to help protect it. To care for your piece; keep out of direct sunlight in a box or roll when not in use, keep it out of the shower, and avoid spraying with perfume.

I post via Royal Mail 1st class Signed for in the UK and International tracked and signed elsewhere. I try to post the next working day, but please contact me if you are in a hurry for your order.
