My Folksy shop has been dozing through the Summer Craft Fair season, but now I'm back in the Workshop, making lovely new things and taking photos.
I'll be adding new items here as quickly as I can. However, anything you have seen on my stall or on another website should be available to buy through Folksy - just message me and I'll re-stock the item here.
Harris Tweed is a very special fabric; in order to be certified genuine and granted the “Harris Tweed Orb symbol” it has to be
"Handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides."
In this ever-changing mass-produced world it is a joy to find something so traditional, truly handmade and sustainable.

Tea for two! A Harris tweed cosy for a small teapot. I've been making cosies for standard family size teapots for many years. Now I've created the same design in a smaller size for the singles and couples.
I have made this beautiful quality cosy from the world renowned Harris Tweed handwoven fabric in a lovely green and purple check. It is lined in white cotton fabric, and wadded with polyester to keep your tea warm. The Orb label, your guarantee of authentic Harris Tweed fabric is proudly displayed.
This tea cosy is to fit a small (2-3 cup) teapot. It measures 25cm across the base, and 17cm top to bottom to allow for the curve of the pot. If your teapot is a different size or shape please contact me for a custom order.
