I often sit with a blank piece of wood and just let my imagination guide me. And this is the result. It's a little darker than some of my pieces, and I seldom do designs larger than pendants so this is quite a special piece.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
A hanging wood slice plaque decorated using pyrography. An original design created by myself, featuring a tangle of branches, two creature eyes and the branch ends becoming birds in flight.
-Hand burned, and posted from the Staffordshire Moorlands, UK
-The wood slice has a live edge, bark intact.
-It measures approx: 24cm wide and 7.5cm high, with a width of 1cm
-It is hung with two eyelets and a length of faux suede cord.
-The plaque is sealed with a UV protective coat and a varnish to protect it.
Each item I create is my own design and composition. Each piece is unique. Please note, wood is a natural material and each piece has it's own knots and imperfections that make it beautiful. I seal the wood with varnish to help protect it. To care for your piece; keep out of direct strong sun, and damp conditions.
I take commissions. If you'd like something different, please get in touch to discuss your ideas.
I post via Royal Mail 1st class Signed for in the UK and International tracked and signed elsewhere. I try to post the next working day, but please contact me if you are in a hurry for your order.
