Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again.
I will be re-stocking slowly but surely after Christmas, so do keep coming back for a browse.

What a sweet and lively bit of vintage linen, with its Swedish emblems. It was so worth saving from the jumble sale, and given a further lease of life.

Full description
Lovely vintage Swedish table napkin design, made into a practical large pouch, or make up bag. This bright and breezy design by Bowa, shows two children in costume whilst a spring festival is in full swing. Its decorated with strawberries and the famous Dala horse. Perfect for storing precious keepsakes, it would also make a great present for a Scandi lover, or a present for Mother’s Day.
The fabric has been stitched onto cotton, but it is still soft
The bag measures 20 cm across
It measures 22 cm down
It closes with a bright green 20 cm zip
The front has a design of a Summer festival printed on it
The back is made of recycled blue denim to give it some edge
There is a floral hook for finger twirling, or to hang it up as a pretty picture in its own right
The lining is a vintage red and white floral cotton
It is finished off with my own embroidered name tag
It likes a gentle wash, and a line dry
I like to reuse where I can. Your bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled wrapping paper. It will be sent as Royal Mail 2nd class, which takes about 3 working days
