Full description

A lovely large natural, rustic multi ammonite Fossil specimen, ideal for display as it is, or as a centre piece in an ornamental display for the garden or home, or maybe an office paper weight for the geological or fossil collector in the house! Ideal as a photography prop too.

This specimen has many lovely Ammonites within the natural rock, found as a single item & split across the centre to showcase a multitude of Ammonites.

It is difficult to make out in the photos, but this a seriously large and weighty item.

Ammonites were located in our seas & oceans over 150 million years ago & now found abundantly as fossils in special locations such as the Jurassic coast in Dorset.

The dimensions of this wonderful specimen, together as a single rock, is that it measures approx 11.5cms by 7.3cms & with a depth of approx 6.5cms at its thickest points, however item is irregular as hopefully can be seen in the photos.

The colours range from light grey, through to charcoal to black!

A real testament to longevity & would make a wonderful gift for a long term friendship, a token of everlasting love or just something wonderful for budding geologists or fossil hunters! Could give as two give as two gifts, or one item.

The fossil has been split, cleaned slightly after retrieving from the ground to remove extraneous rock, debris & removal of overly sharp edges & to highlight the stunning ammonites, but otherwise has been left as near to possible as it was found.
