Please Note: I have had trouble representing the colour of the item which is showing darker on my screen than it should be. I would describe the blue shade of the main body of the purse as 'a faded denim blue'.

Hand-dyed linen and matching crocheted lace, in a lovely shade of blue, were the starting point for this keepsake pendant which has been hand-embroidered in coordinating threads and hangs from a matching, hand-made cord.

A small piece of scalloped crochet lace forms the flap of the pendant 'keepsake purse'. The design has been embellished with embroidery in coordinating hand-dyed and vintage threads. The flap features a blue and green tartan print fabric. The purse has been lined in a blue and white print fabric. The purse closes with a hand-stitched loop over a coordinating glass bead. The pendant hangs from a length of matching cord which has been made from a twist of matching threads. This cord closes with a loop over a vintage shell button. The pendant is completed by a 'fringe ' of vintage beads which also add a little weight so that the pendant hangs well.

Length of cord - 67 cm approx
