The trousers used for the covers were worn by my son when he was about 3 years old. The fabric was torn at the knees and he had grown out of them. Saving them from landfill, I made them into journal covers.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
This journal is Coptic bound with
- covers made from recycled teal corduroy baby trousers
- 180 pages (counting both sides of each sheet)
- page format approx. 10.5cm x 16.5cm (4" x 6.5") - a bit larger than a postcard
- mix of papers in white, brown, cream and colours
- paste down (paper on the inside cover) from handmade paste paper
This chunky little notebook feels great in the hands and will be a good conversation starter will you decide to use it in public. I have been using a similar journal myself for a while, and it never fails to be commented and complimented on.
The coloured pages are fun to use and inspiring to sketch and draw on. The coloured pages are Clairefontaine drawing paper, high quality drawing paper with 30% rag content.
The pocket on the front is fully functional and can hold, flat items. I like the use them to hold items temporarily, llike are a business card I was just handed.

Signs of a well-executed Coptic binding (if you have any questions, please do contact me):
- even stitching
- flush at spine, head and tail (case bound books like most you can find in a store have larger covers than pages, this is a bad idea for Coptic books)
- book stays closed when lying on a table (too much tension at the spine lets the covers open up) and opens well for usage
