Welcome to my shop Wiktorski Ceramics. Here you will find a variety of hand made products including pottery and cards. Each piece is made purely by hand and each glaze I apply is weighed and mixed by my own fair hands, similar to baking a cake. I was taught the traditional way and each glaze has taken many years to perfect. This makes it totally unique to Wiktorski Ceramics. Each piece is a one off and will not be seen again. My cute Christmas tree decorations are designed as a one off hand made piece of pottery.
This listing is for one Christmas tree. The piece is glazed with a beautiful white Glaze. They can be hung around your home on plants, around wicker or willow decorations. Hang it in your garden to make it look pretty.
At Christmas hang it on your tree as a festive decoration. They are so versatile they can be used all year round.
Approx size :- 9cm x 8cm not including twine.
'WIKTORSKI CERAMICS'
I believe there is something very unique and special about a hand-made product. There is an obvious difference between hand-made and mass produced ceramics. Each piece I make is hand-made and made with love.
I work from my studio in Huddersfield where I create one-off, bespoke pottery. My work is predominantly non-functional and is created for the home or garden. Alongside my pottery I make hand-made ceramic cards, pictures and ceramic jewellery.
My inspirations come from the natural world such as organic pods, exotic fruits, trees, animals, coral reefs and nature itself. I am fascinated in discovering the textural quality of such forms and developing this into my work. I like to allow the obvious joins in the clay to be totally visible to the naked eye as this has become an important element to my ceramics.
I work exclusively in stoneware and mix each glaze by hand.
