A pillbox shaped hat of oriental style which was initially popular in the 18oo’s. The smoking cap is an accessory which has lasted the test of time.
I incorporate quilting and beading into my TwiLd Capit Hog designs, using modern fabrics to give a unique up-to-date look.

Full description
The camel coloured tip of this pillbox shaped hat is medium weight wool/ silk mix fabric, quilted and hand embellished with golden coloured seed beads. The crown is cotton Bedford cord with a peach finish, making it soft to the touch. Inside It is satin lined and fully hand finished so no seams show.

Small - approx. 22 inch / 56cm
Medium - approx. 23 inch / 58.5cm
Large - approx. 24 inch / 61cm
(measurements are approx. and will be within acceptable tolerance)
As a guide - take your head measurement and add approx. half an inch (for comfort) this gives your hat size.
Each is individually handmade so may differ, including angle of quilting on tip which is determined after being quilted. Lining colour is subject to availability so may differ.
