This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. It is entirely hand crafted, unique and very special.
This is a very sweet little Robin Redbreast.
I've positioned it on a green twig which as well as making a more satisfying shape for the suncatcher also makes it a stronger structure.
As for all robins, the face is red, chest iridescent white and the body streaky brown.
I love this little bird. I have a couple of residents in my garden and feed them well so thought it was time I immortalised them in glass.
It hangs from a little silvery chain and is 7.5 cm high and 12 cm wide.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
This will make a wonderful present, at any time but especially at Christmas where the Robin is an iconic Christmas image.
The 5th photo shows this robin together with a right facing version also for sale as a separate listing.
