I live very close to the Peak District, and its gritstone outcrops hold a special place in my heart, and I have spent many happy hours climbing and walking here.
Higgar Tor is a gritstone outcrop in the Peak District, UK. It is very popular with walkers, climbers and nature lovers. This fantastic drawing shows detail of the iconic face which, for those in climbing circles, shows a climb called The File (graded VS 4C).
The inspiration for this piece came from the many happy days I have spent climbing and walking the Gritstone crags and outcrops in this area.
This artwork would be the perfect gift for any climber, walker or lover of nature and art.
