The pattern for Starla was taken from Shelly Down's book " My Felt Doll ". I love this patterns and love putting my own spin on the designs.

Handmade Gingermelon felt fairy doll.
Meet Starla the Fairy!
She has been made using a pattern taken from " My Felt Doll " by Shelly Down, further details can be found at www.gingermelon.etsy.com
Starla has been crafted completely by hand, all her clothes and accessories have been hand sewn.
She measures 9 inches / 23cm tall.
All her clothes and accessories are fully removable.
She has been created using acrylic felt and cotton thread.
She has been stuffed using polyester CE marked toy stuffing and safety eyes have been used.
Her headband, shoes, dress, and wings have been finished with sequins and seed bead details.
Her hair has been made using double knit yarn, it has been firmly stitched and glued into position.
Due to small parts, this doll is not recommended for children under 4 years old. She has mainly been created as a decorative or keepsake piece. She may be suitable for gentle play by older children.
Due to each doll being individually handmade, she may vary slightly to the pictures.
