All jewellery listed here that says silver is sterling silver, I do not use silver plate at all. There will be elements of sterling silver in every design (except keyrings), some will be completely so, others may have combinations of copper, brass, bronze, glass, enamel, pewter, resin, upcycled biscuit tins and pre-decimal coins and/or semi-precious stones as well. Many of the designs are one-of-a-kind.
CLOSING FOR XMAS ON FRIDAY 13th DECEMBER when I will also stop NI postings altogether. RESUMING POSTINGS (except to NI,) on SATURDAY 28th DECEMBER
My Grandad left me lots of old coins - halfpennies, pennies & brass 3d bits. I'm gradually working my way through them, developing lots of different ideas as I go along.
I am a dog person with a tiny black toy poodle, Zuzu. She isn't cut like a show poodle with the bare bum and pom tail, I really hate that, so to make something in her image wouldn't be recognisable to anybody else. So I make various generic types like "hound", "puppy" and "terrier" though I must admit, the terrier generally turns out like a Westie when I do it in silver. But I do like Westies too of course, just don't ask me to do a specific Patterdale or a Dalmatian or anything like that, it isn't going to happen!
Cutting out a paw covers all bases and can also be used to represent a cat as well.

This paw has been painstakingly hand cut into a pre-decimal bronze penny coin with a fine-bladed jewellers saw - NOT with a machine/ laser. The coin has then beeen domed slightly.
The one shown is from 1967, one of the last to be minted. If the date is important to you, I may have other dates in stock (if they were minted in the year you require) that could be cut but obviously this would take a little more time to cut it specifically for you. Please be aware, the older the coin, the less likely it will be mint or near-mint condition.
This is the only item that I make that the fitting, in this case the metal keyring mechanism itself, is NOT sterling silver.
Should you require this item as a pendant, please see the separate listing for that item (no: 6988614). This keyring is less expensive than the pendant because it does not come with the sterling silver chain or the presentation box.
Despatched in an organza bag, wrapped in tissue paper, via the Royal Mail Signed For service in the UK. Care instructions provided.
FYI - Bronze is 95% copper, 4% tin and 1% zinc; it represents the 8th wedding anniversary in the traditional calendar and the 19th in the modern version.
It is illegal to deface the queen's image if the coin is still legal tender. The pre-decimal coins that I use are no longer legal tender - and I also have a license to do what I do.
