This little diorama has been based on my original diorama made for my book- The burrows in the brambles. The story is based in a real secret hideaway in Cornwall where I am continually inspired to share my little piece of heaven and tell the story of what I imagine happens there, in the burrows and through the hederows, around the beautiful gypsy caravan and the Hawthorn tree. ( All of the places are real, the story imagined, combined I introduce:
Mighty Oak, Husband to Bessie Oak, Father to Little Oakley and soon to be... (well, you will need to read the book to find that one out!) The Oak family live in the burrow closest to the Hawthorn tree. They are great friends to other animals and a little girl called Meme (sounds like Meem) together they create many adventures and one very important and dramatic encounter that could change everything ...

A moralistic story about the impotance of preserving our environment, while exploring the power of values, friendship and equality.
