Introducing my Joysofglass Fused Glass collection. All handcut by me, decorated and then fused in my kiln.
My glass fusing kiln is only small so these fused glass pieces are all one-off designs, no mass production possible.
A 16cm square trivet or pot stand, 6 mm thick, fired in my kiln to a very hot temperature. This fuses all the glass together to a lovely smooth finish.
The trivet has a base layer of opaque white streaked red glass which is then topped with squares of bright red glass, 4 types. Some iridescent with a golden sheen and another has streaks to make this piece really interesting with a lovely shimmer.
In the centre I've formed a square from frit which I've made myself from matching red glass. I've added a luxurious sparkle to the frit with dichroic glass chips .
A rather beautiful piece of glass. Very tactile.
Made from Bullseye glass, handcut, shaped, layered and decorated with a unique design.
It will be sent to you by first class Royal Mail safely cosseted in bubble wrap.
This will make a lovely present for yourself of for someone you love and is guaranteed to be totally unique.
Would make a lovely piece for a Christmas dinner table.
The 5th photo shows this trivet with 5 others also for sale as separate listings
I've added 4 little feet to the corners to protect your surfaces.
I have a fusing kiln, I have glass, I have an addiction to making beautiful glass pieces.
I hope you like what I have made.
Please note : POSTAL CHARGES : . I always part-refund postage via Paypal where more than one piece is ordered to allow for combined postal charge. I do this as soon as I receive your order.
