Full description
These are unique entirely hand-crafted stained glass little pictures which I designed and made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A vividly coloured flower picture. Red, yellow or orange flower with a dichroic green nugget at the centre which I fused in my kiln. The leaves are strappy bright green.
The background paler greenery and the brightest of blue skies.
A picture to bring summer into your room all year round.
Each flower is different and brightly coloured and you can select by the colour you want, red, orange or yellow.
The overall effect of the picture is in your face bright designed to cast lovely colours when the sun shines through it in the window.
The pictures are 13cm x 8.5cm and are framed with a twisted wire edging for strength and neatness, They are quite sturdy pieces and I am exceptionally pleased with them.
They hang from a strong silvery chain.
They each comprise 20 - 23 individually cut and shape little pieces of glass which are fitted together like a jigsaw and soldered affer each piece has been edged in copper foil. Everything I make is lovingly entirely handcrafted.
They will make a super and very individual present.
These suncatchers are especially in your face vivid. I can't paint a picture with a brush but I can put together a picture using beautiful coloured glass and my picture won't fade.
