Full description
These frosty little studs would be a perfect addition to your winter wardrobe or perhaps for a winter wedding. They are made from aluminium which I have hand dyed in a silvery grey colour and printed with a pretty snowflake print. The dye is sealed in to the metal and I then saw pierce the disc shape by hand, filing the edges to reveal the bright silvery aluminium underneath.
I have domed the discs so that they have a subtle concave appearance. Finally, I've drilled holes for the sterling silver studs to feed through. It's not possible to solder aluminium so the studs are held onto the ear by pressure from the butterfly at the back.
The discs measure approximately 13mm in diameter.
