I first came across these striking stones at a Gem and Rock Fair. I'd never seen them before but loved the blue and silver flashes in them which take them from classic neutral to something much more interesting.
Larvikite comes from Norway and is sometimes known as Norwegian moonstone, or Black moonstone. In the language of crystal healing it is associated with the earth, so a good stone for grounding or repelling negative energies.
